Sensory and Physical

Some children with SEN may have difficulties with sensory and / or physical tasks.

Below are some activities from the Occupational Therapy Team. It covers fine and gross motor skills (and organisational skills for children who benefit from structure and routine).

These activities are practical and most use things that you will likely already have in the house. If you have any specific questions about any of them, please speak to your class teacher or email admin@highlandsprimary.net and ask for your question to be directed to the Inclusion Team.

We have uploaded some information, resources and links that you may find helpful to use at home with your child. Most of these resources are what the children are familiar with at school. If you would like further support, please contact your child’s class teacher by emailing his/her class mailbox and someone from the Inclusion Team will contact you.
