Warmer Homes London
The Warmer Homes programme is a London-wide scheme to improve the energy efficiency of properties occupied by those on a low income. Grants of between £5,000 and £25,000 are available to eligible low income homeowners and private tenants, with funding amounts depending on your existing energy efficiency rating, your tenure and your current fuel type (i.e. gas, electricity, oil or LPG).

The HEET Project
The HEET project provide energy advice and support to residents of Redbridge, Enfield, and Waltham Forest. They are able to direct clients on low incomes to various grants and support around reducing energy bills. They also provide the Redbridge Handy Person scheme, for vulnerable, elderly and disabled residents to access support with minor repairs in the home.

Help through Hardship, on 0808 2082138 for free (open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, closed on public holidays) to talk confidentially with a trained Citizens Advice adviser. They can help address your crises and provide support to maximise your income, help you navigate the benefits system, and identify any additional grants you could be entitled to. If needed, they’ll issue you with a voucher so you can get an emergency food parcel from your local food bank.
